The Glass Art Society is hosting a Virtual Conference starting Thursday, May 21st. Kirsti Taiviola’s lecture Artist Student Collaboration as an Instrument of Art is part of the Conference program. The lecture presents the Kehrä-project as a case-example of how real-life projects and client work can be integrated in schoolwork to support learning the profession of a glass blower. She’ll also talk about how working with glass blowing students influenced her work as an artist.
The Conference is free and open to the public at glassart.org. Check it out next week and follow @glassartsociety for updates!
